Maya is a proud member of I.A.T.S.E Local 15, Western Washington
Meaning I am a represented stagehand in Western Washington. IATSE is a very large union representing not only stagehands and live event workers, but also everyone involved in producing and making moives and TV shows, animation, visual effects, and more. If it’s entertainment, IATSE is behind it.
IATSE is also involved in helping with stage employees get jobs and training. Either by helping with networking or by literally providing training themselves.
